Margaret R. Polito
Margaret Polito concentrates in the practice of Customs, international trade and export law. A graduate of Sophie Newcomb College, Miss Polito received her law degree, cum laude, from Tulane University School of Law and a Masters of Law degree from Columbia University School of Law. She has taught classes in Customs law at the World Trade Institute and Fashion Institute of Technology, and has lectured on export law issues before the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
Miss Polito represents foreign and domestic companies that import and export a wide variety of merchandise such as textiles, wearing apparel, petroleum and petrochemical products, computer and data management equipment, and food products. She regularly represents clients before the Court of International Trade, the Customs Service, the Department of Commerce - Bureau of Export Administration, Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the Fish and Wildlife Service. Miss Polito is fluent in German.
