Casey Richter is an associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office where he focuses on Customs law, trade regulation, and litigation. Mr. Richter is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and before the United States Court of International Trade, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Mr. Richter is a 2006 graduate, cum laude, of the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. While at Catholic he served as a staff member on the Catholic University Law Review, a Moot Court associate, and a member of the Thurgood Marshall American Inn of Court. He is also a cum laude graduate of Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences, were he was a member of the Varsity Men’s Swimming and Diving Team.
Prior to joining Neville Peterson, Mr. Richter interned at the United States Department of Justice in the Commercial Litigation Branch of the Civil Division. He also worked as a research assistant to Professor David Lipton who publishes a treatise on Securities law entitled Broker-Dealer Regulation. Prior to law school Mr. Richter spent two years teaching English as a second language in Chile. He is fluent in Spanish.
